Join inspiring leaders at the JCI Entrep Summit 2009
Submitted by KenPumped tags: about us, events

A few weeks back, I bumped against an old friend I haven't been able to talk to for years. And as any coincidental encounters, you begin with small talk. After all the social exchanges have been made, we eventually got to the good part, talking about our current passions. And as my friends know me, I almost always have to talk about doing what I love of which includes EntrepBuff.com. Surprisingly, we shared similar philosophies, especially that of sharing entrepreneurship as a means for self-actualization and national formation. As I was a part of our small Buff team, so was he with the Manila Jaycees - an organization of Young Leaders and Entrepreneurs that caters to 18-40 year-old young men who want to develop their skills in business, networking, personality and fellowship. So naturally, we had to do something together. And as such, our first collaboration: JCI Manila's Entrep Summit 2009 - Inspiring Tomorrow's Leaders: ideas and stories from business people who are ahead of their time.
As we'll be joining JCI Manila in their Entrep Summit 2009, we're also inviting you guys to be there. Their line-up of speakers is quite interesting as the merge between the "old and new blood" will definitely get the discussions going on. Below are details of the event:
About Entrep Summit
Entrep Summit is the annual culmination project of the Business Directorate of the Manila Jaycees (JCI-Manila) since 2008. The project aims to invigorate the SME sector with an annual entrepreneurship event that addresses the challenges of entrepreneurs today by putting together some of the best Filipino business people and influential individuals in a one-day conference to share about their experiences and road to success stories. This project encapsulates the JCI-Manila’s tenet of providing "economic justice by free men through free enterprise" and cement JCI Manila as a leadership organization actively participating in the business concerns of young leaders and entrepreneurs. Being the lifeblood of the Philippine economy, the SMEs should consciously adapt and grow with market changes and take steps to attaining their business goals - thus coining the term "Entrep Summit".

It will congregate young entrepreneurs and energetic minds that have creative ideas, and inject them with the business acumen that is needed to transcend the trying challenges of the current world crisis. Entrep Summit aims also to dispel fears about going into business, or staying in business – there is nothing more worth while right now to pursue than the Entrepreneurial dream of attaining success and breaking the bonds of financial insecurity.
